On Thursday December 14th, the Englewood Quality of Life Plan Jobs and Economic Development Taskforce hosted its 2nd’s annual Englewood Business Plan Competition. Eleven ventures competed for the chance to win two $10,000 cash prizes. The pitch competition was held at Teamwork Englewood’s offices.
The eleven ventures were: Zanjabil Gardens, KNCAC, Obsidian Rising, LLC, KitchenNet, LLC, Altogether Love, Inc., Just E Skincare, JP Hair & Beauty, My Crafty Table, Pamela Marie Bridal Boutique, Le Go-Be Great, The Blue Sapphire Experience. Businesses were evaluated by a distinguished panel of business owners, institutional leaders and city planners.
The top two finalists received $10,000. The 4th place winner won $5,000 and a free week to showcase their products in the Englewood Boombox. And the $1,000 winners also won a Samsung Tablets.
